Over the past three months, we’ve introduced clearer issue guidance, smarter reporting, and enhanced global detection. Highlights include simplified fix messages, CSV exports for reading age data, auto-filtered reports, and a faster crawler.
1. Detected Issues - Simplified Descriptions & Fix Messages
Issue descriptions and suggested fixes have been refined to make accessibility guidance clearer, faster to understand, and easier to act on. By reducing word count and reviewing the reading age, users can now resolve issues with greater confidence and efficiency.
In addition, our smart, guided recommendations are now available for scanned PDF documents, allowing you to identify and address accessibility issues in your PDF files just as seamlessly as you would on your web pages.
2. Average Reading Age – Now with CSV Report Extract
Our content analyser, powered using the Flesch-Kincaid reading grade system, now lets you download a CSV report of your scanned pages, each with its own unique readability rating. Use these insights to spot trends and make informed improvements to ensure your content remains clear, consistent, and accessible to your target audience.
3. Reporting - Auto-Filtered Checks = Cleaner Reports
Reporting now automatically reflects the configuration settings applied to your domain. Any Checks you’ve filtered out from your scan results will also be excluded from your reports, ensuring a cleaner, more relevant view. In addition, results are now aligned with your selected WCAG compliance level, showing only the data that matters to your accessibility goals.
The report date range calendar now highlights all dates with successful scans, providing a clear, visual overview of your scan history at a glance.
4. Digital Landscape - Smarter, Faster, Global Detection
We’ve supercharged our crawler with enhanced capabilities to better detect your domain’s digital footprint across multiple regions — including the UK, US, and AU.
The Crawler identifies web pages and key assets such as PDFs, media, and images across your site, giving you a more complete view of your content. You also have the option to automatically include all detected pages in your next scan, ensuring comprehensive coverage whenever you choose.
Note: This feature is currently behind a feature flag and may not be visible by default in your organisation.
