Here are the key highlights delivered so far from our Toolbar Roadmap for April–June. This list will continue to grow as we deliver more updates.
NEW FEATURE: PAGE STRUCTURE
Accessed via the Page Structure Icon, this new feature is designed to help users quickly understand and navigate the structure of the webpage.
WHAT DOES THE FEATURE DO?
It will provide an instant organised view of three critical elements
- Headings – Understand the structure and hierarchy of page content (H1 through H6).
Landmarks – Identify regions like main content, navigation, banners, and footers for faster, more meaningful navigation. - Links – View all links on the page in one place, helping users identify navigation paths and calls to action.
WHO WILL BENEFIT?
- Keyboard Users - to enable them to interact with page simpler
- Users with cognitive or Learning disabilities - to reduce cognitive load
- Users of screen readers or TTS - to enable them to skip to designed sections without listening to every line
This feature is a welcome addition to our existing toolbar features.
