Introducing Our New AI-Powered Translation Service
Overview:
After conducting an independent review of multiple machine translation solutions, we’re thrilled to announce our new AI powered translation offering.
Testing shows it delivers significant improvements in translation accuracy across a wide variety of contexts, ensuring your content resonates with global audiences more effectively than ever.
What It Does:
When a user requests your site be translated for example, from English to French—the following process is applied:
-
Check Cache – If the requested translation already exists, it is returned immediately.
-
AI Translation – If supported, the request is translated using our AI powered system.
-
Fallback Providers – If AI isn’t supported for a specific language, the request is routed to the highest priority provider in our list.
-
Automatic Failover – In the rare event a provider fails, the system automatically falls back to the next available provider, ensuring seamless service.
Quality Assurance:
We have partnered with independent human translation companies to benchmark all providers, including our AI solution. Key findings include:
-
In most cases, AI-powered translations outperformed Google, AWS and Microsoft Translate, Google being our most frequently used provider.
-
AI translations have been disabled for languages where quality did not meet our strict standards such as low benchmark scores, inconsistent responses, or malformed outputs.
We have also built an automated quality assurance check into our translation module itself.
Using this we can automatically assess the quality of each of our translations, re-translating any content that does not meet our strict benchmark.
This works by ranking the quality of each of our translations out of 100, the ones that do not exceed 75 are marked for pre-translation. This process continues until we have a verified, accurate translation.
Sub-Processor:
-
Cerebras – AI inference provider for powering translations.
-
Hugging Face - AI chat/inference proxy provider for AI translations
Opt-out process:
Customers who have chosen to opt out of using AI, will continue to use non-AI providers.
If you have any questions around this then please contact your Customer Success Manager.
Evolving our Roadmap & Release Process

- Greater collaboration with our Support & Implementation Teams to identify where developments can be made to further improve our support process and build updates into our Roadmap
