Today, on International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2024, we’re celebrating the rights and inclusion of people with disabilities in every part of society 🌎


🤔 Did you know that around 1.3 billion people (17% of the global population) live with a disability? With such a significant portion of our world affected, it’s time we all commit to making life, including the digital world, more inclusive!

Did you know? 🤔

  • Over 1 billion people worldwide live with a disability. 
  • An estimated 46% of older people aged 60 years and over are people with disabilities 
  • One in every five women is likely to experience disability in their life
  • One in every ten children is a child with a disability 

Whether you are affected by disability directly or you have family and friends who are, it is so important that we raise awareness of how common it is and how we can make life more inclusive to all.
